A Jennifer Tilley Costume from the Woody Allen Film "Bullets Over Broadway." Miramax, 1994. A tan-colored silk slip, red and green ribbon spaghetti straps, lace trim at bust, additional red and black beaded trim at bust, pleated sides; together with a matching house jacket, same lace trim and beading as slip but with added faux red fur, pleated back; worn by the actress as "Olive Neal" in the scene where she's playing solitaire, trying to ward off the advances of her boyfriend "Nick Valenti" [Joe Viterelli]; interestingly, Tilly was nominated for a 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' Oscar for her work in this Woody Allen film but she lost out to her co-star, Dianne Wiest, which was probably bittersweet for the two. (Please note a few of the beads are now missing.)
