A Jayne Mansfield Evening Gown, Circa 1950s. Made of off-white silk, entirely covered in silver bugle beads, sleeveless, gathered bustline, exposed back, zip-up back, slight train at hem, no labels but evidently studio-made with sweat guards sewn into the lining; appearing to be the one the actress wore in publicity photos relatively early in her career. (Please note there are sweat stains, missing beads, holes in lining, and holes in dress.)

This gown was originally sold in the Camden House (Beverly Hills) auction titled "Hollywood Memorabilia, Autographs, Historical Documents & Film Posters," November 6-7, 1993, Lot 610, final price realized was $2,000.
