    Dark Grey groomsmen tailcoat jacket

This groomsmen's jacket was worn by the character Billy Puckett played by Burt Reynolds in the 1977 film, "Semi-Tough. This dark grey tailcoat jacket includes black ribbon piping along the trim and a peaked lapel. It was made by "Cotroneo Costume" and includes the actor's name misspelled as "Burt Reinold" typed on the label.

Mr. Reynolds can be seen wearing this jacket during the wedding scene towards the end of the film. This garment is initially seen on Billy in the minister's office prior to the wedding ceremony of Marvin "Shake" Tiller (Kris Kristofferson) and Barbara Jane Bookman (Jill Clayburgh). Billy gives Shake advice telling him that the most important thing is to give his future wife "space". He goes on to say that Shake needs to get used to the fact that marriage is about sharing and in order to "tie her down" they need kids. As they approach the altar, Shake seems hesitant about the future with Barbara Jane and ultimately says, "I Don't". A fight ensues between families and Billy and Barbara Jane decide to leave as it begins to escalate. While on a beach together still in their wedding attires, they reveal their feelings for each other and continue walking as the credits rolls.
