300 - Gerard Butler Production-Made King Leonidas Armor. This custom-made gold armor was created for the character King Leonidas (Gerard Butler, Phantom of the Opera) to be worn during the Battle of Thermopylae. The lot consists of a set of greaves (leg guards), a set of vambraces (arm guards) and iconic battle helmet as seen on the movie's poster. The pieces are all hand sculpted to have the appearance of hand-hammered metal, but are made out of hard rubber and lined with leather and foam for comfort. The items are also hand painted and detailed to show battle wear and age. The helmet is tagged "Leo Fitting". There is some minor paint flaking but otherwise this lot is in Very Fine condition. Accompanied by a COA from The Hollywood Studio Collection.
