    "Gill Man" Studio Mold Display Casting from Creature from the Black Lagoon (Universal, 1954/cast in1970s). Vintage original "Gill Man" bust constructed of slip cast latex rubber taken from the original "Land Creature" mold, meaning the scenes when the Creature is out of the water menacing the boat crew or lusting after Kay Lawrence (Julie Adams). Expertly painted to match the existing color test photos of the Creature with highly detailed technicolor hues. This impressive display bust measures 15.5" x 10" x 13". Polyfoam-filled for display. Exhibiting some paint crazing, handling and expected age. Rubber remains supple. In vintage Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
