Description

Camel saddle from Lawrence of Arabia. (Columbia, 1962) Vintage original genuine camel saddle with wooden frame over metal armature and Arabian-style rough woven blanket cover with rope tassels on either end. The saddle has 2-vertical wooden pommels, one at each end, covered with decorative metal. With belts on each side-one adjusts and the other serves as a flank billet for harnessing to camel. Underside of saddle marked, "T-Post". Measures approx. 25 x 27 x 18 in. Exhibiting production wear and actual desert use. In vintage good condition.
