Barry Sonnenfeld's Men in Black "Noisy Cricket" gun display. (Columbia Pictures 1997) Original Sci-Fi weapon constructed of tooled aluminum, cast resin, plastic, and multimedia components. In the film, the Noisy Cricket is a diminutive, palm-sized firearm of deceptively astonishing power. The little gun dispenses a large orb of energy that can blast through five feet of concrete. The recoil is epic, as agent "Jay: (Will Smith) learns the hard way when his first use of the weapon flings him across a room. The static prop is presented on a pedestal display base. The entire display measures 6 x 7 x 5 in. From the collection of Barry Sonnenfeld.
