The Honeymooners (CBS TV, 1955-1956), Audrey Meadows "Alice Kramden" Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress Nomination Plaque. Vintage original laminated wooden PermaPlaque certificate addressing Audrey Meadows' nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work on The Honeymooners. With text to plaque reading, "Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Presents this Certificate to Audrey Meadows in Recognition of Nomination for the Best Actress Supporting Role / "Series" (Honeymooners) For the Year 1955 / Don DeFore, President". Measuring 9" x 11" and accompanied by a 2- page Western Union telegram addressed to Audrey Meadows from Ed Sullivan, Chairman of the New York Chapter for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, congratulating her on the nomination. Telegram is dated March 2, 1956. This nomination followed Meadows' win in the same category for the same role the prior year. Plaque exhibiting mild age and wear. Telegram is toned and creased.
