Original glass brick trophy from the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, featuring embedded backing and floating text visible through the front, including the word "Rebel" and "Sundance Film Festival 2010." Associated with independent filmmaking and a spirit of nonconformity, Sundance awards like this are presented during the closing ceremonies to Grand Jury Prize winners in four categories: U.S. Dramatic, U.S. Documentary, World Cinema Dramatic, and World Cinema Documentary. Each year's trophy design is unique. In 2010, the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize went to Winter's Bone, Debra Granik's acclaimed drama that launched Jennifer Lawrence's career and earned praise for its stark portrayal of life in the rural Ozarks. The trophy weighs over 3 lbs. and measures 5" x 7" x 1.5". Exhibits minor handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
