    Glenn Ford's Kanab Rodeo Trophies. A well-known star of great Western movies, Glenn Ford's skills with a horse also spilled over into his personal life. These two trophies were awarded to Ford in the 1940s at the Kanab Rodeo in Kanab, Utah. One is a cup standing 10" and engraved with "Kanab Rodeo Rescue Race won by Glenn Ford and Big Boy Williams" and dated 1942, the other stands 9" with a horse ornament and is engraved "Glenn Ford/winner/Wild Horse Race/Bareback and Saddle" with no date given. Both are in overall Fine condition with heavy tarnishing and some mild wear to the bases. From the Glenn Ford Estate. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Peter Ford.
