Description

Dinah Shore's 1958 Emmy Award. This Emmy Award for Best Female Personality -- Continuing Performance was presented to singer and television personality Dinah Shore in 1956. After appearing on many television shows in the early days of television, she landed her own, The Dinah Shore Show, in 1951. Over the course of 12 seasons from 1951-1963, Shore made 125 hour-long programs and 444 fifteen-minute shows. She won her first of many Emmy awards for the show in 1955; this particular award was her third, and the fourth for which she was nominated. The award stands 15" high and the base measures 7.5" in diameter. It is in Fine to Very Fine condition with some wear, tarnishing, and scratches.
