DeMille inscription, (1) American Legion Bill of Rights Medal crafted from gold with ribbon and Cecil B. Also part of this extraordinary group is a balsa wood box measuring approx. 3" x 2.5" x 1.5" containing (23) medal and ribbon rosettes, (1) Son of the Bear coat of arms pin, (1) Masonic Shriner Scimitar '58 pin, and (1) Italy Order of Merit Miniature Medal. This stunning collection of awards comes complete with DeMille's original display case that was kept in his office, just to the right of his desk, for decades. The mahogany glass case with brass hardware measures 36.5" x 18.5" x 37.25" and features a hinged wood front opening, a removable black velvet liner, and four sleek legs. The medals exhibit some age, tarnishing, and some ribbon fraying. The display case exhibits some scratching, scuffing, minor nicks, and brass tarnishing. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
