    An Ernest Borgnine "Marty" Meat Cleaver Memento from "This Is Your Life," 1956. NBC Television, 1952-1961. Stamped on the blade "S.I. Moss Co / Made in Italy / Hand Forged," metal placard on wooden handle reads "To Ernest "Marty" Borgnine / The Noblest Butcher of Them All / This Is Your Life / October 24, 1956;" presented to the actor when he appeared on the television show the same year he won the 'Best Actor in a Leading Role' Oscar for his moving portrayal of the Bronx butcher looking for love, "Marty," in the 1955 United Artists film of the same name. (Please note blade is rusted due to age.)
