A weighty brass medallion, with a beautiful decorative image in relief featuring three figures next to the comedy and tragedy masks, text reads "Ad Astra / Awarded / For the Production of / The Thirty Nine Steps / Gaumont-British / Picture Corporation Ltd / Judged / The Best British Film / of 1935 / Film Weekly Award;" likely presented to the producer of Alfred Hitchcock's thriller that starred Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll or possibly given to Hitchcock himself; housed in its own green leather case.
