    Description

A Rosalind Russell Set of Gold Medallions, 1940, 1956. The first piece marked "14K," the front engraved "RR" surrounded by a number of city names such as "Havana, New Orleans, Paso Robles" and "Buellton" among a few others, the back further engraved with more city names such as "Lake Arrowhead, Catalina, New York City," among others, plus an odd message reading in part "You took on property / Management...14th Sept. 1940 / Never forget that...," unusual engravings likely relating to a theatrical production taken on the road; the second piece marked "1/20-12K," the front with a circular line design, the back engraved in part "Auntie Mame... / 9-24-56 / ...10-31-56 / Merde," evidently a private joke relating to one of Roz's most famous roles, that of "Mame Dennis." (Please note both pieces are somewhat scratched due to use and age.)
    Diameter: 1 1/4"
