A Karen Black Group of Golden Globe Nomination Certificates, 1970s. Three total; the first for the 1970 Columbia film "Five Easy Pieces" for "Best Supporting Actress / in a Motion Picture;" the second for the 1974 Paramount film "The Great Gatsby" for the same category; and the third for the 1975 Paramount film "The Day of the Locust" for "Best Actress-Drama;" Black did win for "Pieces" and "Gatsby" but sadly lost out to Louise Fletcher for the United Artists film, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest;" consigned directly by The Estate of Karen Black. (Please note the "Locust" certificate is heavily damaged with substantial paper loss; the other two are yellowed around the edges and somewhat wrinkled due to age.)
