Tom Mix/William S. Hart/Gilbert Roland/Hoot Gibson Stills (Circa 1910s - 40s). Fantastic set of six stills depicting some of the biggest stars of early Westerns. First up is a signed photo, partially mounted and measuring 7.5" x 9.25", of silent-era cowboy William S. Hart. The b&w promotional shot shows light soiling, and fading to the bottom edge. Next is a weathered 8" x 10", with heavy creasing, small tears and chipped edges showing Hart and humorist Will Rogers smiling. Though in rough condition, the photo includes a short note on the reverse, likely written and signed by the legendary Rogers himself! Also includes two 5" x 7" stills from early Tom Mix shorts The Range Riders and Chip of the Flying U, a cut-down glossy still featuring Hoot Gibson, and finally an 8" x 10" promotional shot from the 1946 Cisco Kid feature The Gay Cavalier, signed by star Gilbert Roland above his likeness.
