The Manchurian Candidate Final Shooting Script, Signed and Annotated by Set Decorator George R. Nelson. A 126-page final shooting script for The Manchurian Candidate, dated January 10, 1962, with cover signed by the film's set decorator George R. Nelson (signing as "Bob Nelson"), who has also added annotations to the cover and text. The lot also includes four original 8" x 10" b&w stills: two candids take at the bar at "Jilly's West" (Laurence Harvey and Frank Sinatra in one, Harvey in both), and two posed shots featuring Sinatra with Janet Leigh and Harvey with Leslie Parrish. Also included is a clipping of the Oct. 12, 1962 review of the film in The Hollywood Reporter. Script cover has some staining, script itself in Excellent condition, as are the four stills. It's spine-chilling to see the unforgettable climactic words "Oh God, Ben" in the original script for this classic suspense melodrama. Accompanied by a James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
