Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (TCF, 1980), David Prowse, George Lucas, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Cast Signed Card. Original hand-printed greeting card addressed to "Paula" and dated April 5, 1979, during the filming of The Empire Strikes Back. Measuring 8" x 5", and featuring a handwritten message from David Prowse (Darth Vader), which reads: "Hello Paula. Greetings from 'The Empire Strikes Back' Have managed to get most of the autographs, Kenny Baker has gone off to do summer season and I haven't got Gary Kurtz. Trust all is well. Love Dave." Prowse signed his full name below "Dave." On the facing page, the following cast members and crew have signed their names, from top to bottom: Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), George Lucas, Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia Organa), and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). This rare piece captures the signatures of most of the principal cast, along with Star Wars creator George Lucas. A must-have for fans of what is widely considered the best film in the franchise. Card exhibits signs of age, including fading, lightly bumped bottom corners, and minor tearing on the outer cover where tape was previously applied.
