Description

Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy Signed Contracts. A pair of modifying agreements to contracts between comedy duo Laurel and Hardy and Hal Roach Studios, granting them eight additional weeks of time off. One is a three-page agreement dated November 28, 1932 and signed on the last page by Hardy in black ink; the other is a two-page agreement dated December 12, 1932 and signed on the last page by Laurel in black ink. The contracts cover the better part of 1933, a pivotal year in the duo's career that saw them make the transition from shorts to feature films in such early classics as Fra Diavolo and Sons of the Desert. Both are in very Fine condition with fold creases, paper clip indentations, and mild wear. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
