Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy Signed Contracts. A pair of two-page agreements on Hal Roach Studios letterhead, undated (circa 1932), one signed by Laurel in blue ink and the other by Hardy in black. The agreements suspended the contracts between the comedy duo and the studio for 60 days. Laurel used the time off for a vacation to visit his father in the UK; Hardy and his wife joined them, and the vacation became a working tour, with enormous crowds greeting them everywhere they went. It was on that trip that Stan and Ollie went from being merely co-stars to close personal friends. The documents are in Very Fine condition with slight fold creases, paperclip indentations, and a few small rust stains. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
