    Description

    Oliver Hardy's Signed Last Will, 1957. This two-page Last Will and Testament is signed in black ink "Oliver N. Hardy," (the "N" stood for "Norvell") and is dated October 29, 1941. Hardy leaves his entire estate to his third wife Lucille, whom he'd married the year before, and also names her executrix of the will. Two witnesses have also signed the document. Oliver Hardy died August 7, 1957, and his partner Stan Laurel never again performed. There are minor staple perforations at the top of each page, but otherwise the document is in Excellent condition and the signature is outstanding. Accompanied by certificates of authenticity from PSA/DNA and University Archives.
