Max Steiner Initialed RKO Correspondence Regarding The Most Dangerous Game. RKO Studios, Inc. Inter-Department correspondence paper, measuring 5" x 8.5" and dated July 28, 1932, in which legendary composer Max Steiner requests the studio contract Franke Harling to write "the entire score" for The Most Dangerous Game. Steiner initials "M.S" over his typed name in fountain ink. An interesting item, since Steiner, who composed the music for King Kong and Gone With the Wind, and who later won three Oscars, received the official music credit for The Most Dangerous Game. Harling's music appeared (uncredited ) in such horror films as The Raven (1935) and The Invisible Ray (1936). In Excellent condition.
