Mark Hellinger's Rise and Shine Archive. A somewhat-forgotten Jack Oakie vehicle, Rise and Shine (1941) also featured Linda Darnell, Walter Brennan, and Milton Berle in a riotous wartime sports-comedy. Included in this selection of items from Hellinger's personal collection is a copy of the final shooting draft of the script (dated August 27, 1941, Herman J. Mankiewicz, 133 pages plus revisions), a second copy of the same script that's hardbound with call sheets, wardrobe sheets, b&w 8" x 10" photos, and other documents; a framed b&w 8" x 10" photo of Hellinger and Oakie; and four acetate recordings of the songs from the film. In overall Very Fine condition. From the Mark Hellinger Archive.
