Marilyn Monroe Signed Norma Jeane Dougherty Model Release Form, 1946. In 1945, an Army photographer for Yank magazine snapped a photo of a young munitions factory worker named Norma Jeane Dougherty, and encouraged her to seek out work as a model. Signing with the Blue Book Modeling Agency, Norma Jeane became one of the company's most successful models, and in March and April 1946 she engaged in a couple of shoots with well-known photographer Richard C. Miller -- sessions that were stepping stones towards Norma Jeane's transformation into Marilyn Monroe. This photographic model release form is dated April 30, 1946 and is signed by both Miller and Monroe (a rare sample of her signature as "Norma Jeane Dougherty"). The form is accompanied by a color 8.5" x 11" print of the first photo taken during that session, a rare image of a fresh-faced young Monroe posing in a ski lodge tableau. In Excellent condition.
