Description

Marilyn Monroe Handwritten Signature and Address (1947). Vintage original "World's Bubble Gum King / Andrew J. Paris" business card signed in pencil on the verso by Marilyn Monroe with her address, "Marilyn Monroe / 3539 Kelton Ave / Los Angeles / AS - 44131". Andrew J. Paris, known as the Bubble Gum King, served as the technical advisor for the bubble gum blowing scenes in Miracle on 34th Street. In early 1947, while at the Twentieth Century Fox commissary, young Natalie Wood introduced Paris to starlet Marilyn Monroe (who was not yet famous), and he asked her on a date. Paris had Marilyn provide her address on this card so he could pick her up for a night on the town. The business card exhibits light signs of soiling, edge wear and creasing. Comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
