    Description

Lucille Ball Handwritten Letter to Husband Gary Morton. A two-page handwritten, undated, by Lucy in blue ink to her husband Gary Morton on their 24th anniversary. It reads in part: "Gary, Gary, Gary, How can I put into words what you really mean to me every day of my life. I've given it a lot of thought today -- and come up crying each time. You are my life, I'm glad I'm your wife. Didn't expect that to rhyme." The letter is in Excellent condition and is accompanied by its original envelope, which was literally sealed with a kiss as indicated by the lipstick print on it. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from Susie Morton as the widow of Gary Morton, Ms. Ball's second husband. The lot is not offered by the estate of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
