Lucille Ball and Gary Morton Notes and Letters. Two notes from Lucille Ball to husband Gary Morton, both expressing how much she loves him and admires his work as producer of her TV show -- one signed "Your Wife," the other signed "Your Missus." Also three cards from Gary, one signed "Morty," two signed "Gary"; Lucy has noted on one of them "Gold diamond + pearl necklace!" -- presumably the gift that the card accompanied. Lucy has kissed two of Gary's cards and the envelope of the other, leaving a rather generous lipstick mark on each of those three items. Also included is a 10" x 13" mailing envelope with the pre-printed return address "Lucille Ball Productions, Inc." Excellent condition, with the lipstick a uniquely nice feature. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from Susie Morton as the widow of Gary Morton, Ms. Ball's second husband. The lot is not offered by the estate of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
