Letters from President Clinton to Stanley and Karen Kramer. Three typed letters signed by President Bill Clinton to producer Stanley Kramer and his wife, actress Karen Sharpe Kramer. The first letter on White House stationery is dated September 16, 1996. President Clinton wishes Stanley a Happy 83rd birthday, points to the High Noon script as a favorite gift and thanks Stanley for his work as a producer. It is signed in black ink. The second letter is dated September 19, 2000 and is signed by Bill Clinton in blue ink. It is also on White House stationery, and in it President Clinton thanks Stanley and Karen for their note and "for sending the new screenplay for my collection." The third letter, signed in black, is dated February 23, 2001 and is on his personal stationery, "William Jefferson Clinton." Addressed to Karen Sharpe Kramer, he voices his deep sadness at the death of Stanley Kramer. In Very Fine condition, there is glue residue at the top of the first two letters. The signatures are strong and clean. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA. From the Stanley Kramer Estate.
