Laurel and Hardy Signed Documents. Truly revealing behind-the-scenes material on Laurel and Hardy includes a typed letter dated April 10, 1935, from Hal Roach secretary Matt O'Brien, regarding Laurel's payments to his ex-wife Lois (she was receiving one-half of his salary), signed by Laurel and O'Brien; an extensive file of correspondence, dated April of 1935, regarding Laurel's payments to Lois, including a typed April 18, 1935 letter signed in fountain ink by Laurel, two postal return receipts signed in pencil by Lois Laurel, and three letters signed in fountain ink by Laurel's lawyer Benjamin Shipman; and a typed letter on Hal Roach Studios Inc. letterhead, dated October 4, 1935, regarding Hardy's salary, signed by Hardy and Roach Studios vice-president Henry Ginsberg in fountain ink. Documents and signatures in Excellent condition.
