Judy Garland Signed Licensing Agreement, 1940. Includes a licensing renewal agreement signed by Judy Garland in association with Whitman Publishing. The 1940 agreement between Whitman and Garland bears the child star's signature in black ink and specifies that Garland's likeness and name be published in combination with those of Mickey Rooney's. Must have been a spectacular year for the 19-year-old. The Wizard of Oz (1939) was nominated for six Oscars that year (winning two), and with that performance Judy's star was born. Also included is the original 1939 contract, signed by Judy's mother Ethel. With the expected age toning and mailing creases, and minor corner wear. Otherwise, the set is in overall Fine condition. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
