Description

John Wayne Signed Letter. A single-page typed letter on Wayne's personal stationery, dated March 3, 1952, with a big, bold signature by the Duke in black ink. The letter was written to John E. Horton, who worked as a liaison between Hollywood studios and the Pentagon, and it reads in part: "I was not aware you were no longer with the military. It was very kind of you to run down the information for me, and I appreciate it... you were always so helpful when you were in charge of the Motion Picture Division." The letter is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with mailing creases and has been framed along with the original mailing envelope to an overall size of 10" x 12". Requires third party shipping.
