Description

Jean Harlow Signed Photo Inscribed to William Wyler. A vintage b&w 10" x 13" photo of the very glamorous Harlow inscribed: "'Willie' darling - Loads of love to you from Jean" by her in black ink. "Willie" is believed to be director William Wyler. Jean Harlow died from renal failure at the tender age of 26, just as her career was flourishing; during her lifetime, much of her correspondence and autograph-signing duties was handled by her mother, "Mama Jean" Harlow. As such, signed items bearing Harlow's actual signature are hard to come by. This is a superb example of such a rare autograph, in Fine to Very Fine condition with some fading, toning, and wear. Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
