Harry Houdini Signed Stock Shares Certificate (ca. 1921). Vintage original 1-page printed stock shares certificate on 8.5" x 11" "Houdini Picture Corporation" letterhead with detailed Art Deco border and United States Great Seal at top center, dated 24th day of August, 1921, signed "Harry Houdini" in calligraphy pen with black ink on bottom line marked "President," stamped with company seal on bottom left corner, and unsigned endorsement area on verso. Formed in February 1921 in New York, the Houdini Picture Corporation was a short-lived film venture by history's most famous magician, who died a few years later in 1926. Also includes a burgundy certificate holder with gold foil border detailing. Certificate exhibits expected aging, toning, minor tears, and original fold lines, with certificate holder exhibiting minor handling, such as slight staining and bumped corners.
