    Gone With the Wind First Edition Signed by Margaret Mitchell. A great American novel that quickly became a great American movie, Gone With the Wind won the Pulitzer in 1937; the film version broke all box office records in 1939 and won eight Academy Awards. This first edition of the book is signed by author Margaret Mitchell on the first endpaper in black ink. The volume is in Very Good to Fine condition with some mild to moderate discoloration and soiling to the spine and covers, some toning to the inside covers and flyleaves, and overall off-white pages. The dust jacket is in Good to Very Good condition with some toning and moderate chipping and tearing. The binding is in very nice condition. A fantastic item.
