Gary Cooper Divorce Agreement. A 16-page legal agreement, dated November, 1951, regarding the separation of Gary Cooper from wife Veronica May Cooper, signed in fountain ink by Gary Cooper. There are an additional four pages of "exhibits," listing financial assets, and the document is rich in detail regarding the custody of their daughter Maria and the financial holdings and responsibilities of both Mr. and Mrs. Cooper. Hollywood gossip at the time claimed the marriage was falling apart because of Gary's affair with Patricia Neal. At any rate, Gary and Veronica never divorced; he resumed living with her in July 1954 and she was his widow when he died in May 1961. The document is marked "Original," measures 5" x 13.5," and comes with its blue legal backing. A fine era professionally for Cooper, whose High Noon was released eight months later and won him his second Oscar. In Fine to Very Fine condition. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
