Ernie Kovacs Signed Letter and Card. CBS Television letterhead, dated September 16, 1953, signed in fountain ink by Ernie Kovacs. In Excellent condition.

Typed letter on CBS Television letterhead, dated September 16, 1953, signed in fountain ink by Ernie Kovacs. The letter is to a fan and Kovacs included an EEFMS membership card -- The Early Eyeball Fraternal and Marching Society, which Kovacs has also signed over a line reading: "(Janitor) WCBS-TV." The front of the card has a huge eyeball illustrated on it; this likely was a novelty offered to fans as Kovacs' TV fame grew. Added to the letter is a handwritten note to the fan from "Vicki," possibly one of the "Philly fans" on Kovacs' show. Letter is postmarked in New York September 16, 1953 and has a "Keep your eye on CBS Television" stamp on the front of the envelope. In Excellent condition.
