Ernie Kovacs and Edie Adams Signed "Potato Head Prize." This 3.5" x 5.5" WCBS-TV New York card was apparently the "Potato Head Prize" sent to a fan who submitted questions and answers for the "Ignorance Unlimited" skit on Ernie Kovacs' Kovacs Unlimited TV show. The card shows Kovacs in prison garb flanked by show cast regulars Edith Adams (as Edie was called in those days), Andy McKay, Trygve Lund, and Eddie Hatrak, all of whom have signed in different color ink. Also included is a note on WCBS-TV letterhead, written in green ink by Andy McKay to the prize winner, as well as the envelope, postmarked in New York January 28, 1953, with a "keep your eye on CBS Television" logo stamped on the front of the envelope. Kovacs' office address is on the envelope also, and on the back flap is a cartoon of Kovacs' eyebrows, mustache, and cigar. Very Good condition. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
