Edgar Hurley Autograph Book. British vaudeville star Edgar Hurley and his wife Ethel Wren brought this autograph book to the United States in 1913, during which time they toured in a comic troupe including Stan Laurel and Charles Chaplin. This 6.5" x 8" autograph book with black leather cover contains the signatures of many of the acts they met along the way, some of whom added cartoons to their inscriptions and signatures. The cover of the 96-year old book is now unattached, and the book has long traveled in a leather wrapping, and is in Fair condition. However, the inside pages are funny and colorful, and contain awesome show business history. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
