Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, and Others Autographed Copy of the 1939 AMPAS Players Directory. This vintage copy of the 1939 edition of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Players directory features approximately 240 autographs from such screen legends as Grant, Bogart, Cagney (twice), Lucille Ball, Joan Crawford, Gene Autry, Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Billie Burke, W.C. Fields, David Niven, Bela Lugosi, Bette Davis, Claudette Colbert, Olivia de Havilland, Bob Hope, Basil Rathbone, Ray Milland, and Barbara Stanwyck. Holes were punched through the left edge of the softcover volume so that it could be placed in a three-ring binder for storage and protection; the front cover of the binder has separated from the spine, but the directory itself is in overall Very Fine condition. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
