Boris Karloff Signed Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Contract. A standard single-page freelance agreement with two riders attached, dated January 19, 1953, signed by Karloff in blue ink. The contract engaged Karloff for the role of the titular villain to the tune of $5,000 a week for three weeks. Karloff played only Dr. Jekyll in the film (a follow -up of sorts to 1949's Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, Boris Karloff), with stuntman Eddie Parker in a fright mask portraying Hyde. The document is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with mild wear and fold creases. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
