Description

Boris Karloff Album Page Signed "Frankenstein" with Ivor Novello Signature. Rare 4.25" x 2.5" album page signed in full "Boris Karloff/Frankenstein". The great Boris Karloff was a frequent signer for his many fans, but it is rare indeed to find anything on which he also signed the name of his most famous film. The reverse features the signature of English actor Ivor Novello, a star of silent films whose career ended just a few years after the "talkies" arrived. His most famous role is the serial-killer title character in Alfred Hitchcock's 1927 thriller The Lodger. This is a terrific, unique piece for the horror collector! In Fine condition with minor age toning. From the Boris Karloff Estate Collection. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA and a letter of provenance from Sara Karloff Sparkman.
