Description
Boris and Evelyn Karloff Personal Christmas Card and Fishing Photo. An extremely rare Christmas card designed by Evelyn Karloff's sister, Kate Adamson. The inside features the printed names "EVELYN & BORIS KARLOFF." Sent by Evelyn to Karloff biographer Scott Allen Nollen on November 16, 1983. The full-page letter on the inside of the unfolded card is signed by Mrs. Karloff and includes information on the card's creator, comments about Boris' personality, the founding of the Screen Actors Guild, an interest in cricket, and his appearance on This Is Your Life in 1957. In Very Fine condition and accompanied by the original envelope addressed by Evelyn Karloff. Also included is a rare b&w 5" x 7" photo from the Karloffs' 1953 trip to Acapulco, depicting Boris and Evelyn, their companions, and an impressive deep-sea fishing catch.
