An 8" x 10" sepia tone photo of this comedic actor with a big smile, signed in black fountain pen: "To-/ Mush/ Best Ever/ Billy Gilbert". A notation on the verso states that this was signed on the mentioned date at the Plymouth while he was appearing in Susan and God (later an MGM film). Gilbert starred in over 200 films and TV shows, known for his "sneeze" routines; he was used (appropriately) by Walt Disney as the voice of Sneezy in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".
