Description

Bela Lugosi Signed Q&A Sheet with Lugosi's Handwritten Dracula Reference. This 6" x 8.5" sheet of lined notebook paper features eight handwritten personal questions with answers handwritten beside them by Bela Lugosi and also signed by him on the reverse in black ink. No date is given, but the signature, which the actor has sharply underlined, features the characteristic accent mark that Lugosi placed over the "e" in his name when signing his early autographs. Lugosi coyly gives clipped answers to the questions put before him (example, when asked to whom he was married, he replied "to my wife"). More importantly, Lugosi's answer to "What was your first picture?" was a simple, handwritten "Dracula". In Very Fine to Excellent condition. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
