An Olivia De Havilland Collection of Signed Letters, 1940s. Twenty-four total, personalized stationery, typed, ranging in date from 1942 to 1948, all addressed to "Miss Gisela Weise," all newsy and friendly (though not juicy) in content as Weise was likely a young fan, the star frequently mentioning the films she was working on and actors she was working with, all signed in black or blue fountain pen ink in the lower right corner either "Olivia De Havilland" or "OdeH;" all included with their original transmittal envelopes -- a sweet correspondence that apparently lasted six years, probably ending when Miss Weise grew up.
    Each Letter: 8 1/2" x 6" or smaller
