    A 'Step Outline' from "The Birdman of Alcatraz." United Artists, 1962. Light blue covers, outline by Guy Trosper, dated "11/19/59," marked "Step Outline," 61 pages, not a traditional script but a synopsis of the overall story, signed on the first page in black felt-tip ink (likely years later) by director John Frankenheimer; together with two complete scripts of the film, both further signed in black felt-tip ink on the title page by Frankenheimer but appearing to be later copies from the 1980s; from the multiple Academy Award-nominated film starring Burt Lancaster, Telly Savalas, Karl Malden, and Thelma Ritter.
