DescriptionA Set of Signed Posters from The Writer's Guild Strike (1988). Both rendered on cardboard, featuring text reading "The / Writers / Guild / Strikes" next to the WGA logo, signed in blue and black ballpoint ink by the various writers who were working in Hollywood at the time; this major strike, which lasted for a whopping five months, was responsible for bringing film and television productions to a standstill and it created an eerie, ghost-like town out of Los Angeles throughout its duration because it put so many people out of work.
