A Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, and Jack Haley Group of Signed Pieces, Some Related to "The Wizard of Oz," Circa 1960-1970s. Eight pieces total including: 1) a photocopied page with the typed lyrics to 'If I Only Had a Brain,' signed in black felt-tip ink on the right side "Ray Bolger;" 2) another photocopied page with the typed lyrics to 'We're Off To See The Wizard,' signed in black felt-tip ink in the lower right corner "To Michael Judd / From the Scarecrow of Oz / Ray Bolger;" 3) another photocopied page with typed excerpts from "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," signed in black felt-tip ink in the lower right corner "Ray Bolger;" 4) a black and white still, printed in the 1970s, glossy finish, depicting the four main actors from "WoO," signed in black felt-tip ink in the center "To Ronald / From The / Tin Man / Jack Haley;" 5) a playbill from the 1960 production of "A Midsummer's Night Dream" which starred Bert Lahr, signed by him in blue ballpoint ink on the cast page as well as by other actors in the play; 6) a small black and white headshot of Ray Bolger as "The Scarecrow," a later print with a glossy finish, signed in black felt-tip ink on the lower margin "To / Michael Judd / From The Scarecrow / of Oz / Ray Bolger;" 7) an almost identical piece to #6; and 8) a small note on personalized notepad paper, penned in black felt-tip ink, dated "Jan. 9, 1979," reading in part "Dear Michael / I had two idols.. / Ray Bolger" - 'Judd' being an amateur young actor who struck up a penpal relationship with Bolger in the 1970s when some of these pieces were signed for him; consigned directly by Judd's family.11" x 8 1/2" and smaller
