    Description

A Marilyn Monroe Signed Check to May Reis, 1961. From the star's 'Bankers Trust Company' account, dated "February 10, 1961," typed out to "May Reis" [MM's longtime New York secretary and confidant] for "$123.10," signed in black ballpoint ink "Marilyn Monroe," endorsed by Reis on the verso. (Please note a very light ink stamp affects first letter in signature.)
    8 3/4" x 3"

Interestingly, February 10, 1961 was the day MM was discharged from the Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic in New York, a stay that was traumatic for her.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
